Responsibilities :

As aPhotonics and Image Processing Engineer, your responsibilities will include :

  • Participate in pre-sales phases,
  • Write technical specifications,
  • Work closely with the team to translate concepts into technical solutions,
  • Design, develop and deploy image processing algorithms for optical analysis (non-destructive measurements, etc.),
  • Experimental validation of algorithms on real systems,
  • Participation in physical modeling of systems (link between optical theory and measured data).
  • Design and use experimental and metrological vision systems,
  • Actively participate in technology watch to stay at the cutting edge of advances in Optronics/Photonics,
  • Collaboration with optical experts, embedded developers and academic partners,
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices within the team.

Qualifications required:

  • Doctorate preferred (or at least Bac+5), ideally in photonics, signal or image processing, or physics.
  • Proficiency in image processing tools (OpenCV, etc.) and languages such as Python or C++,
  • Good understanding of optical phenomena (scattering, interference, imaging).
  • Analytical mind, taste for clean code, scientific rigor,
  • Bonus: knowledge of AI / machine learning, optical simulation (Zemax), parallel computing.
